As CEO and Founder of HCP, Julie has devoted the company’s direction to serving EMS and Fire Agencies across Texas since 1997. Although she has obtained many certifications and distinctions over the years, obtaining her NAAC – CAC (Certified Ambulance Coder) Certification in 2010 , CHPSE (Certified HIPAA Privacy Security Expert) in 2013 and CACO (Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer) in 2014 helped solidify her commitment to the industry.

Pete Thomas

VP Sales and Marketing

Pete joined HCP in 2008. He has lived and breathed EMS for 30 plus years. Retiring as a NREMT-Paramedic, Pete’s position prior to HCP involved being a District Sales Manager for an EMS Distribution Company. His knowledge of Operations and Supplies in EMS gives us insight to the field as a whole. Pete earned his NAAC- CAC (Certified Ambulance Coder) Certification in 2010 and CACO (Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer) Certification in 2014. Pete also serves as HCP’s Disaster Recovery Director.

Brandy Fajkus-Goodwin

Executive Director

As a 15 year veteran at HCP, Brandy has worked her way through many ambulance industry changes and continues to remain abreast of current events and possible trends acting as our Executive Director.  Brandy earned her NAAC-CACO (Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer) Certification in 2017, her NAAC-CAC (Certified Ambulance Coder) Certification in 2010, serves as HCP’s Security Officer, and works closely with staff & clients ensuring their understanding of proper billing & coding practices.  On a personal note, Brandy serves her church as a Youth Leader, enjoys fishing and spending time with her family.

Peggy has been with HCP since 2004. She has over 30 years Accounts Receivable experience and because having a denials management plan is not enough, knowing how to go after money that is rightfully yours requires skills and proficiency in which we are lucky Peggy obtains.  Peggy earned the credentials of Certified HIPAA Privacy Associate (CHPA) in 2017, NAAC- CAC (Certified Ambulance Coder) Certification in 2010 and currently serves as HCP’s Privacy Officer.

Amie McDaniel

It’s 2018 and although it’s a new year, we want to continue with last year’s quest of allowing folks a chance to get to know our team members.  Introducing, Amie McDaniel – we are very thankful that Amie took the time to answer a few questions about her role at HCP and herself.

What is your role at HCP? Billing specialist

What aspect of your job do you enjoy the most? What I enjoy the most is learning more and more every day to help better myself so that I can do my job with the best quality.

What piece of advice would you give to a new client? I would give them this quote: “Every job is a self-portrait of the person who does it. So Autograph your work with excellence!” –Jessica Guidobon

Do you have a favorite quote? I have 2 favorite quotes: “Perhaps the butterfly is proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness yet become something beautiful.” “When the world says give up, hope whispers try one more time.” –both unknown

If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day? No one else but myself. Sure I’m not perfect or someone with a lot of power or money. But there is no one I’d rather be than to just be myself. Maybe myself as a Mermaid if they were real. To have that gorgeous tail to swim with the beautiful sea creatures and see the wonders of the sea (without all the gear you can use now) and change back to human whenever I want! Now that would be a perfect ME! LOL
